many types of fungi are obligate parasites /saprophytes &
are potent phyto,anlmal & human pathogens causing serious
diseases .They are responsible for spoilage of foods ,paper
fibr/any materials .They are also imp.group of
aeroallergens causing respiratory ,skin allergy .
