Test Script is mainly used/generated for automated
testing.As per my experience i will give u an example of
QTP tool. In QTP, u can record as well as create test
scripts manually then run as well as play back(rerun or
reuse) whenvr required.And u can also choose as to which
script you would like to use, eg. VB script,ActivX etc
There is a record button in the tool, u click on that..
then perform the required operations/steps. as u perform
the steps, a script is automatically generated, then after
you perform the steps , u stop the recording , then ther is
a run button available, u run the script generated and u
get the results.
U can also write scripts urselves in QTP and run it.
