Hi this is venkat...planning to give try to group-1 ....can anybody tell me the syllabus of prelims and also is there any institute that gives me the books/material for prelims in Engilsh if so please let me know.if not what books i need to go through for clearing group-1 prelims..???? hi this is krishnam Raju i am studying btech 3rd year i wanted to become dsp(deputy superdent of police)by writing group-1.i want info about group-1. in which language we can write group-1?how much time we must spend for a day to get that job in first attempt,what are the basics we must have? and newly chnged exam pattern(what are advantages and disadvantages for new pattern)?.what are the best institutions we have for coaching?.how much money it takes for coaching?.way of correction(paper evaluation)?.is ther reservation in mains? how much it is.books?etc what you know.plese help me.

Hi, I have submitted group 1 chalan on 18-08-2009 and paid the fee in SBI on the same day. On 19-08-2009, after entering refernce no, journal no, date of birth, date of payment and uploading the photo with signature, when I click "upload" button, I get the error saying that the journal no is wrong. But i have verified it with SBI again. The number is correct. Can anyone please tell me what has to be done. Kindly help me.
