a path 7m wide surrounds a circular lawn whose diameter is 252m find the area of the path ..

Answer / amani

Area of path = π(R-r)(R+r)

Radius inner circle = 126 (252/2)
Radius outer circle = 126+7 = 133

Therefore,

Area of path = 22/7(133-126)(133+126)

= 22/7(7)(259)

= 22/7(1813)

= 39886/7 = 5698 Sq.cm
