Explain about Anemometer?
Answer / rajendra singh rajpoot
Anemometer:-This is an apparatus for measuring the speed of wind. The most common types of anemometer are the cup and the fan type. The rotating cup type consists of 3 or 4 hemispherical cups fixed at the end of a light horizontal arm attached to vertical rotating shift. The net force of the wind on cups make the shaft rotate and actuate the mechanism at the base which shows the speed of the wind on a dial. The dial is calibrated in a wind tunnel in which known air speeds are generated.
