What 2 symptoms are seen with a lesion of the musculocutaneous nerve?..

Answer / sean chetcuti

As musculocutaneous nerve supplies biceps brachii,
coracobracialis and brachialis, there would be loss of
elbow flexion, supination of the forearm. Although bicpes
is also a weak flexor of the shoulder joint and
coracobracialis is a weak adductor of the shoulder joint.
these actions are still maintained due to the action of the
pectoral muscles (supplied by the medial and lateral
pectoral nerves mainly responsible for horizontal flexion)
and latissimus dorsi (supplied by the thoracodorsal nerve
beaing mainly an adductor of the shoulder joint).
