1st approach: use below command if you are login from putty:

tree --charset=ASCII

2nd approach: change the character encoding in Putty. Settings -> Window -> Translation -> Remote Character Set. select UTF-8

If u look at the mirror image of a clock & the time showing is 2:07 what is the angel between the hour hand & minute hand ? Is it possitive or negative?
