6. A lady has fine gloves and hats in her closet- 18 blue- 32 red and 25 yellow. The lights are out..

Answer / pradeep

in first lady takes 32 gloves r red in color

she go for next pickup that may be yellow or blue

we assume is it yellow

after then she pickups 24 yellow gloves

only one yellow be there probability for getting blue also

so 1+1 yellow +blue

so now there is no yellow and red gloves

so she pickup 2 gloves which must be in blue

32+24+2+2=60

ans :60...........

6. A lady has fine gloves and hats in her closet- 18 blue- 32 red and 25 yellow. The lights are out..

Answer / suda

at the worst case she will pick up 32red
at the second case there is no red at worst case she pick up
and may get 25 yellow
by third time there is only blue if she pick only 2 that
pair must be blue.

so 32+25+2=59

there is no option of 59 so even if she pick 3 blue one pair
of blue will be their so 60 is write answer.

6. A lady has fine gloves and hats in her closet- 18 blue- 32 red and 25 yellow. The lights are out..

Answer / yatin kaushik

I would say that the answer is 59 as explained by the people above but since there's no option of 59 so the just greater number 60 would be chosen as an answer which is correct according to the question and it would be great if people could explain the reason for giving 60 as an answer rather than just increasing a number of blue hat to satisfy what given as an option. Thanks ! :D

6. A lady has fine gloves and hats in her closet- 18 blue- 32 red and 25 yellow. The lights are out..

Answer / yadav

lady has fine gloves means she has gloves in pair so there
are 12 pair of yellow gloves and 1 yellow hat is there.
now start with large number say 32 for red then 24 yellow
now one yellow hat is there so now she has 18 blue gloves out
of them 9 are for left hand and 9 of right hand so may be
first 9 will be of same hand then there is no pair of blue
gloves is there so she has to pick one more glove. so total

32+24+9+1=66 but no option is there
