1. 6 workers can complete a work in 48hrs, how much time it will take with 5 workers? 2. In 5 wo..

Answer / srinivasa

6*48/5=57.6 when all five are working.

If one is on a break of 8 hours, let the work done by each
man be x, now total effort was 6*48 = 5*57.6 =288

Therefore, 4x+1(x-8)=288
5x=288+8=296
Therefore x=59.2 hours

1. 6 workers can complete a work in 48hrs, how much time it will take with 5 workers? 2. In 5 wo..

Answer / kranthi

if 6 workers work together they will completed 48hr

then 5 workers works they have to work 48hrs to completed
own work but not 6th worker so

6worker = 48hrs(6workers @ 8hrs)

5 workers =48hrs+( 5workers/8hrs)( ie absent of one worker
entire 5 workers have to do work at a time after 48 hrs at
last so rest 8hrs will divided to all amount to 5 workers)

5 workers =48hrs+( 5workers/8hrs) convert into mins
(8hrs*60mins =480mins)

5 workers = 48 + 480mins/5 workers
5 wrokers =48+96mins
