To go to privileged mode, enter the enable command. If an
enable password is not set, the router changes to privileged
mode without asking for a password. If this is the first
time the router is being configured, the router prompts you
for the enable password. Enter the enable password, if a
password is set. The prompt changes to Router#. The pound
symbol (#) indicates that you are in privileged mode.
