auxin b or auxenolonic acid:
it is present in corngerm oil,other vegetable oils,malt
and a fungus called rhizopus.
it is also a weak acid and is soluble in water,alcohol
ether and chloroform.
it is both acid-labile and alkali-labilew.
this is DERIVATIVE OF cyclopentane.
