Let us consider this sequence
(2)2 - (1)2 = 3......=1*2+1
(3)2 - (1)2 = 5......=2*2+1
so (x+1)^2 - (x)^2 = x*2 +1
(165)^2-(164)^2= 164*2+1
=329
