What is zone of equivalence?

Answer Posted / Pulkit Sharma

The zone of equivalence (ZE) is a region in an antigen-antibody reaction where the concentration of both antigens and antibodies is sufficient to form complete antigen-antibody complexes, but not enough to cause precipitation. In this zone, there are equal molar amounts of both reactants present, and the solution remains clear.
