Brown-Sequard Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder characterized by hemisection of the spinal cord. It causes loss of pain and temperature sensation on one side of the body, while preserving the ability to feel touch, vibration, and proprioception on the opposite side. The affected side also experiences motor weakness, and may experience loss of sphincter control.
