Actinium is a reactive metal that forms multiple compounds with various elements. It readily forms oxides, fluorides, chlorides, bromides, iodides, sulfates, and carbonates. Some notable chemical reactions include its reaction with hydrochloric acid to form Actinium(III) chloride (AcCl3), and its ability to reduce Uranium(VI) oxide to Uranium(IV) oxide.
