If curly hair is genetic, why do you have curly hair if none of your ancestors did?
Answer Posted / Ravi Prakash Gupta
Mutations can occur in DNA that lead to new traits. These mutations can sometimes cause a change in the appearance of hair, such as making it curlier. Even though your ancestors may not have had curly hair, a random mutation might have occurred in one of your ancestral lines, leading to the curly hair trait you possess.
