How are the polyclonal antibodies produced?

Polyclonal antibodies are produced by stimulating an animal's immune system with an antigen. The B cells in the animal produce a diverse set of antibodies, each specific to different epitopes of the antigen. This results in a polyclonal mixture of antibodies.
