Yes, the Green Revolution can be considered a mixed blessing for India. On one hand, it increased agricultural productivity and helped feed a rapidly growing population. On the other hand, it also led to environmental degradation, such as soil erosion and water scarcity, due to overuse of fertilizers and irrigation. It also favored large-scale farms over smallholder farmers, exacerbating rural poverty and inequality.
