The Great Debate of Soviet Industrialization, also known as the DEBATE of 1924 or the Controversy of 'Gosplan', was a debate among Soviet leaders about the direction and pace of industrialization in the USSR. The two main sides were represented by Leon Trotsky and Joseph Stalin.
