X < 0, Y <> 0 then what is the possibility that the result is always positive?
Answer Posted / Neeraj Trivedi
Let's consider a simple operation such as addition (x + y). Since X is less than 0 and Y is greater than 0, x + y will be positive if and only if x is greater in absolute value than -y. However, since we know that X < 0, this condition will never hold true. Therefore, the result of any operation between negative X and positive Y will not always be positive.
