What is the use of INV-Receipts and PO-Reciepts,Just give
me the Differences&When,At what Instances to use Them...?
Answer Posted / Satyam Shukla
INV-Receipts (Invoice Receipts) are used in Oracle Apps SCM to record the receipt of an invoice for goods or services. This includes creating a purchase order (PO) and then recording payments against it. PO-Receipts (Purchase Order Receipts), on the other hand, are used to receive physical goods against a purchase order. The main difference lies in their purpose: INV-Receipts deal with financial transactions while PO-Receipts deal with the receipt of goods. They are both used at different instances depending on the transaction type, whether it's for recording an invoice or receiving physical goods.
