What would happen to photosynthesis if the green light waves that reach a vegetable were blocked?

Answer Posted / Anuj Deol

If only red and blue light waves reached the plant, photosynthesis would still occur but less efficiently due to the lack of energy from the green part of the spectrum. Green light is primarily used for photosynthesis in C3 plants but is not essential for overall plant growth.
