Explain the structure of the choroplast?

Answer Posted / Dilip Kumar Baskey

The chloroplast is a membrane-bound organelle found in green plants, algae, and photosynthetic bacteria. It contains the pigment chlorophyll, which captures sunlight for photosynthesis. The thylakoid system within the chloroplast produces ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and NADPH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate), while the stroma is where carbon fixation occurs.
