Melting range:- Refers to the temperature range over which a substance begins to melt and completely liquefies. It is a broader range of temperatures and is typically observed for mixtures or impure substances
DSC- Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) measures temperatures of a reference material and a sample while changing the sample temperature in accordance with a program, and then measures the amount of heat from the temperature difference.
