Comet and planet:-Comets are heavenly bodies belonging to the Solar system. Their orbits are but elliptical like this of the planets but are highly elongated. Hence they are visible after very long period. A comer has nucleus or head and a tail of gaseous matter several thousands miles.
planets are also heavenly bodies which revolve round the sun in elliptic orbits. They have no light of their own but are visible by the light reflected from their surface, planets in order of their distance from the dun are mercury, venues, earth, mars, Jupiter, Saturn Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
