DNA:-DNA is abbreviated as the deoxyribo nucleic acid. It is one of the important constituents of cell-chromosome. It consists of pentose molecule, two purines and two pyrimidines. It is experimentally estimated that a DNA molecule may have as may many as 20,000 purines-pyramidine base pairs and even thousands of coils. The sequence of base pairs on DNA represents the coded information directing the activities of the cell and passing them to new generation. It is inherited martial of almost all living things.
