Why is it easier to swim in sea water than in the river water?

Answer Posted / swarupa dey

It is easier to swim in the sea water as compared to river water because this sea water is density and contained salt which increases the density of water and also increases its upthrust so the body sink less in it and we can easily swim in it as compared to the river water because river water is less denser than the seawater and we can sink into it ,so it is easier to swim in sea water.
