Which is more basic?Ethylamine or Acetamide?Why?

Ethylamine is much stranger base then acetamide. This is because the plus I effect of ethyl group of ethylamine increase the electron density on nitrogen which is gets easily protonated. On the other hand , the electron pait on nitrogen of acetamide gets de localised due to resonance.
