Do your single-level BOMs represent production levels and do
you keep your BOM header materials in stock? If not, do you
produce non-stock items, or are some assemblies just used as
structural elements in a BOM?

phontom assembly - i will create bom as gear box assembly but these contains gears but physically that gear box assembly is not there , it is called phontom assembly
