I have two rows in my database, one is emp I'd and
Another one is salary and I have only 50 records in that table.when I retrieving the data. It's taking the time max 4 minutes. But the client requirement is the data should retrive below 2 min. How can you resolve? Kindly suggest this one.

By creating index on empid column
