tie beams are structures provided in between columns whose height is more 5 meters. as every knows tie beam does not carry any direct axial loads nor the weight of the slabs or the columns. tie beams normally considered important if the foundation was determined shallow or the if the foundations is sitting on file drive suspensions due to stubborn seismic.
