What is partner function? How will you do determination? Why
we use?
Answer Posted / praveen
Partner : Are the people/Org units with which we do business.
Partner Function: The role that a partner will play in a transaction like Sold-to-party,Ship-to-party,payer etc.
Partner Determination: Its a process (SPRO setting), that defines how other partners in a transaction will be evaluated based on one input. like you enter sold-to-party in a transaction, this will work as input to PDP to determine other partners involved like contact prson, ship-to, payer etc.
A PDP comprises of Partner functions and access sequence to determine relevant partners.
Thanks.
Praveen.
