Lcms is combination of the liquid chromatography& mass spectroscopy its use in cro for identification of unknown molecule by its m/z ratio & also used in reaction monitoring analysis to confirm how much product form and how much unreacted is remaining.

In BP2013, Loperamid HCl monograph. Assay by titration with 0.1N sodium hydroxide using hydrocloric acid 0.01N and reading the volume added between the 2 points of inflexion.
