*REBLD - The access path is completely rebuilt each time a file
member is opened. The access path is maintained until the
member is
closed, then the access path is deleted. - I am not able to
understand this completely.

2.Yes ,it is possible to know the type of join by DDS.
If we are joining two files,with JREF(primary file) thn it will Inner join.
If we have specified JDFTVAL ,then it will become left outer join.Because all records from primary file will be selected and only matching records from secondary file will be selected.
if we are joining same file ,like,JFILE (PF01 PF01) ,this is a self join.
