please differentiate star schema and snow fleak schema
with dimension table, how end user is depending on them in

star schema: it can be defined as a fact table sorrounded dy dimension tables and all the dimension tables should be de-normalised
snow flake schema: it can be defined as fact tables sorrunded by dimension tables and those dimension tables atleast one dimension table should be normalised
