Can we create a report in cognos BI without a Package? i.e.
without framework manager? If so how? I have been asked this
question twice..i think this feature is available in cognos
10 version..not very sure....Could anybody highlight?

How...as in if suppose u write a sql query..select * from_____??? You will anyways have to reference the pakage ...
And we do have options to import excel through odbc by setting system dsn and all...but again that option is un framework manager... how do we do that in report studio without any package without fm... if you are aware that this is possible please let me know the detailed steps..
