Segment is the smallest unit of information that DL/I
transfer from and to your program. its name contain 1 to 8
alphanumeric unique character. its contain more then one
field up to 1000 field and no limitation of segment
occurrences.one ims database contain 255 maximum segment and
its different type like root segment,parent segment,child
segment, dependent segment.
