UPS- EB source is converted to DC power through rectifier(DC
to AC), this connected to battery and to Inverter(DC to AC)
this AC supply can be fed to load in this case even EB power
failure the power will be fed to load from battery to
Inverter to load. So there is no power interruption to load
thats why it called as Uninterrupted Power Supply.
Inverter- EB source is converted to DC power through
rectifier(DC to AC), this connected to battery and to
Inverter(DC to AC). At normal EB power available time the EB
source directly fed to Load, If EB power failure the switch
will be activated and stored power in Battery will be fed to
load(battery to Inverter to load). So there is a power
interruption(less than 20 Sec) to load.
