which field have wider prospective of job... M.sc
bioinformatics or M.sc biotechnology
Answer Posted / priyanka dey
Both have almost same job prospectives possibly outside........but since i belong from north east(Assam)the branch Bioinformatics sounds rare.since i m persuing 3rd semester M.Sc Bioinformatics...when i say people bioinformatics..it is like most of them are unaware about this subject..but most of them says i have heard biotechnology not bioinformatics...i hope within 2 or 3 years every1 will come to know what bioinformatics is,if not atleast the name bioinformatics.Definetely job possibilities will increase if both the courses are introduced in colleges...& universities
