residue of ignition and sulphated ash terminology is same
but as ignition time no sulphuric acid is add during
ignition test
but in sulphated ash first ignite the sample at suitable
temperatur then added 1 ml sulphuric acid & ignite suitable
temperature as per IP,BP&USP
