In HPLC what is Single point threshold, peak purity index
and minimum peak purity index? what should be consider for
pure peak.
Answer Posted / dr. sp goswami
Peak purity index is the purity of peak from its peak apex,
front to tail part considering whole peak examination,
Single point threshold shows only peak maxima spectra .
For pure peak peak purity index should show a positive
value of peak purity index not less than 99 or 1.0 a
negative peak purity index less than 99 shows (shimadzu)
inhomogeneity of peak
