adapters reside at java stack are
file,jdbc,soap,rfc,mail
6)What is the PCK ? what is its advantage?
Ans:
the PCK (Partner Connectivity Kit) is to enable smaller
partners or subsidiaries to integrate their landscape with
the primary business partner’s SAP NetWeaver XI landscape
Advantages:
The primary benefit of using the PCK in such a fashion is
the ability to run and test adapter specific scenarios
without an Integration Server.
Greater flexibility to experiment without putting main XI
installation at risk
Local environment (e.g. laptop can test XI scenarios) - can
configure and test anywhere, anytime.
Fast way to test and experiment with new adapter features
and scenarios

comunication channel is to send the message from source to
target
in communication channel we can configure the adapters ,we
can define parameters and status of adapters
