well,the word BIOTECHNOLOGY by name itself suggests that wht it is..
in simple words,its meaning is-the technology of bio..now u jst need to clarify the word TECHNOLOGY here.in simple words u can say that technology is something related to application.
so the meaning is clear..biotechnology is jst the application of bio..this is its simple meaning..in other words ,u can also say that it is the use of living organisms..etc..etc.. i jst want to clarify the need of every question with the help of of this ques...in every word,its meaning is hidden..u jst have 2 search that simple meaning..and dis is called the basics....and most of the peoples[not only students but also a biggest acheivers like engineers,teachers also]has not crystal-clear basics in their minds...so 1stly clear ur basics...:-)
