How to prepare ppm solution of Nacl form its salt?

1gm/1000ml=1ppm
Therefore 1ppm Na solution is prepared as follows,
Mol. wt. of Nacl/Mol.wt.Na=58.5/23=2.54
when diss. 2.54gm Nacl in 1000ml water get 1ppm Na.
