it is misconception
that spokes are in
compression while
loading.
Spokes being thin are
god in tension than
compression.
If you observe the
spokes they are fixed
at hub bt slightly free
at wheel.
Whn load appld the
lower spokes expnd
in whel whch brings
all spokes in upper
hemisphre in
tension, who actualy
tak load.
