if hydrogen ion concentration of a solution is 90% what will
be the ph of that solution?
Answer Posted / sanjay shukla
pH=-log[H+]
Here the hydrogen ion concentration 90% means that 90/100
=-log (90/1oo)
=-(log90-log100)
=-log(10x9)-2log10
=-1+log9-2
=-3+2log3
=-3+2x.4771
=-3+.85
=2.15
