why compression strenth of concrete is tested with a cube of
size 150x150x150 mm ?

In 150x150x150mm cube the dimension 150mm is match with the pressure plate dimension.If it is less than 150mm the total pressure distribution is not as per spesification and it will show more than the cube value.If the dimension is grater than 150 mm ,the pressure distribution will not to the whole surface of the cube.
