On the ribosome, mRNA binds ____; the peptidyl transferase
reaction occurs ____.
a) to the large subunit; on the small subunit.
b) to the small subunit; on the large subunit.

b)is the correct ans.The m-rna binds to the small sub unit
and forms 30s initiation complex. The poly peptidyl
transferase occurs with the large sub unit. The t-rna's
transports the amino acids to p-site and A-site in the
larger sub unit and process is completed with the aid of GTP
by the enzyme tranlocase.
