How many times does the minute hand meet the hour hand in a
day?
Answer Posted / golda ronney
22 Times a day because in one hr the hour hand take 30
degree turn and on the other hand the minutes hand take 360
degree turn, so there exists a diffrence of 330degrees.So
the time required for the minutes hand to turn 1 degree
more than the hour hand is 60/330 = 2/11 minutes. So if the
minutes hand need to take 'X' degree than the hour hand
then it requires 2*X/11 minutes.
So from the above description it can be calculated that the
hour hand and the minutes hand will meet together 22 times
per day.
