ITIL stands for information Technology infrastructure
liabrary. It has a life cycle approach which has five
stages as service strategy, service design, service
transition, service operation & contiual service
improvement. It has 20 process and 4 functions. Information
security management is a seprate process in version 3. It
has been accpected globally and it is the best practics
world wide. It had more emphasis on SS & SD.
